Staff Development

The Craighalbert Centre has, in partnership with the University of Dundee, Faculty of Education and Social Work, developed a suite of six modules within the BA in Early Childhood Studies framework. These specialist modules are part of a distance learning programme, but are also delivered face to face at the Craighalbert Centre.

The modules are:

· What is Conductive Education?
· What is Cerebral Palsy?
· Human Development and Movement
· Cerebral Palsy Supporting Children, Families and Professionals

In addition, the Craighalbert Centre has, in partnership with the University of Stirling, Department of Nursing and Midwifery, developed four modules within the BSc in Nursing framework. These specialist modules are delivered face to face at the Craighalbert Centre.

The modules are:

· Principles of Conductive Education
· Working with Cerebral Palsy
· Early Education in the context of Conductive Education
· Understanding Human Movement
